Make Your Own Brown Sauce for Chinese Dishes
Basic Asian Brown Sauce
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
In a saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch.
