I am glad I read this book though the subject is a painful one. I read it because I so enjoyed The Kite Runner. This in no way compared to that book for me.

Read as a young girl several times. Loved it then, wonder if I would still now.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Currently my all time favorite book. If you haven't read it, you must. Loved all the characters, learned much about World War II civilian life and will be buying this in hardbound edition at Half Price Bookstore as soon as I see it.
